After studying a few tutorials online, I came up with a plan....I used the half-ball pan and insert from my Betty Crocker Bake and Fill Pan for the belly. I used some small glass bowls to bake the bosom part of the cake. I baked two of the base cakes from my Bake and Fill Pan set (basically this is a 1" tall round pan). I placed one base under the belly, and cut one to fit under the bosom, to fit perfect with the belly under it. I had to carve the bosom cakes round. I put everything together and frosted with a thick layer of buttercream frosting. I rolled out a large sheet of white marshmallow fondant and covered the whole cake. I smoothed it around the top and sides, and let it sort of wrinkle up a the bottom. I cut it exactly at the bottom edge of the cake along the top and sides to about the middle of the belly. I left several inches intact at the bottom of the belly to create the dress effect. I added large polka dots to the belly and smaller ones to the bosom, as well as the sash and bow. Here are some photos of the cake pre and post buttercream:

Pregnant Belly Cake
This was a fun challenge. A cute pregnant belly cake! About an 8" belly and 4" bosoms. Covered and decorated in marshmallow fondant. Simple instructions and more photos after the jump.
